Help us make a difference...
Join our team of volunteers and make a difference in the lives of others. We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available and need assistance with ride/event planning, donations and connections to organizations, who support veterans and veteran causes.
We are a ride, geared at raising donations and awareness for veteran suicide and mental health.
The number 22, at one time, represented the number of veterans who have taken their lives daily and although that number has dropped to 16.5 each day, 22 is synonymous with and has become a symbol for veteran suicide.
1 is too many…
66 For The 22 was created as a cross country ride, to raise awareness for veteran suicide and is a ride that stretches along what is probably the most famous road in the world. Historic Route 66 spans over 2,400 miles and crosses 8 states, starting in Chicago, Illinois and terminating at the Pacific Coast in Santa Monica, California.
The riders, all who have lost brothers or sisters, to veteran suicide, ride across country and raise awareness and donations to support veterans mental health and programs that will help veterans cope with PTSD and other issues, resulting from their experiences in combat.
Your donation helps support our organization's mission to make a positive impact in the veteran community. We appreciate your generosity, efforts and support!
Have a question or want to get in touch? We'd love to hear from you. Contact us today and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
If you are interested in riding with us, please download the registration form and waiver of liability.
Once complete, you can upload them here or email them to: abenavidez@66ForThe22.org
Application submission is contingent on position availability, as only 22 riders will be involved.
All riders must be riding for a veteran for whom they knew, who became one of the 22 veterans who take their life daily.
